About Us

History
Jewelry design came early on to me in life. When I was in my teens, I was gifted a rock tumbler. The tumbler peaked my interest, and shortly thereafter, I learned how to cut and polish stones. I was amazed at the variety of colors and patterns the tumbler could reveal in the stones. I saw every color of the rainbow, as well as gorgeous patterns. I never knew a stone could depict snowflakes frozen against a midnight sky or silhouette the many hued hills found out west in banded agate! The more I explored the stones, the more I wanted to know.
After I had perfected stone cutting and polishing, it seemed only natural to learn metal work. After all, the beautiful cabs I made needed settings! With a healthy dose of curiosity and courage, I learned to solder brass, copper and sterling silver.
More recently, I began experimenting with a rolling mill to create unique patterns in metal, which I then craft into jewelry.
Present Day
Today, I create a variety of handmade jewelry using stones, crystals, antique silverware, vintage dies, sheets of metal, and miscellaneous items, like barbie shoes or mahjong tiles. I also like to use pearls, shell and coral from the sea! Besides the typical earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, I also sell tie tacks, pins, and pens. To me, the best part of making jewelry is creating new items and learning new techniques.
